FACEBOOK TAKES DOWN GROUPS RECKLESSLY
FACEBOOK MEMBERS COMPLAINTS:
It was deleted at random. Nobody knows why or how. It was a Pokemon collections page for people who want to show off collections or buy stuff for their collections. To our knowledge the admin team did everything right. Now here we are restarting from over 5500 back to 0.

Morning! My group (www.facebook.com/groups/bdsmbrasil) was denounced and excluded today (07/27/2015), but wasn´t out of the community standards, so I think it was automatic deleted. I want to know if I can recover my group and how can I do it? And wish to know what have violated the community standards, because it doesn´t have images, or racism, or drugs apology, or nothing that violate the community standards to cause this exclusion.

FACEBOOK MEMBER:

Can a facebook employee inform me as to the reason for deletion by facebook? Or if it was not by facebook, then who?

I am 99.99% positive we stayed within every rule and guideline facebook has for sales groups. I have never seen another do this, further had to create the question because nobody else has ever asked.

PS the group did pop up a few times for random people at random times for a month after the deletion, so we thought it was slowly coming back but we havent seen activity for a while now.

Until a few days ago, I also had a GROUP of the same name. The group members manage the project, while the page is the public-facing part of the project.

Today, I realized the GROUP has disappeared from facebook. I did not delete it (or if I did, it was totally accidental). Additionally, the PAGE used to have a pinned post containing a link to the group. This post also has been deleted. I am the only page admin.

How can I recover this group and this pinned post? I have no clue how they could have been deleted. Thanks for any help!

started a health and wellness group with over 250 members a year ago. I went on last week and it was completely gone... no trace of it- FB didnt inform me of any possible removal. My members spent days looking for it. I emailed a quite a few times to report the problem and never heard back. I worked extremely hard on this and there was nothing inappropriate or against FB policies. I am the only Admin/group manager so I no one else could get rid of it. Please help...

My question: FB deleted my group and Ive reported it and still havent heard anything... what else can I do to get it reinstated

I had a group that has been deleted which was not offensive or had rude content. It was about a show in melbourne australia that aired between 1959-1987 - World of Sport which aired on television station HSV7 in Melbourne australia. It had videos and memories of the show people enjoyed. I am wondering why it has been deleted as a put a lot of work into it and I am very very angry.

I am the Moderator for the old Sacramento Free Items group. This group was for giving away things that people need like food, clothes, housing, etc. I have no idea Why it was deleted but Ide love to know so It doesn't happen again. Also if it was a member issue why didn't we mod's/owner even get a warning. This group had over 5000 members. Thats alot of people to be left out in the cold. Thanks for your time, William Call

2 day ago at morning when I logged in to my facebook id..there was some notice to me and my all friends those who are admin in my group, my some enemy has reported to my that this is a fraud and spam group,I am a creator of that group, trust me we are not did fraud or spam to anyone,my group name is coin master trading group reloaded,some people are getting jealous from my group,they dont want to see me happy with my group,they reported my group,now my group is showing that(coin master trading group reloaded has been disabled because it has content that goes against our community standards on fraud and spam, my group which I make to help people through group, now it's showing that it's currently under review,we I got any answer from Facebook I was totally upset from last two days please help me to recover my group please.

My group, Philosophy ϕ was shut down today because of apparent violations of Facebook's community standards. Nothing specific was mentioned, I just received a notice saying to check the group for violations. This is a 30,000 member group with 13 admins and is continuously frequented by participants. If anything unseemly is reported, we remove it. As far as I can tell, it has just been business as usual.

I've gone though the posts and other than the usual debating between members didn't find anything that violates any specific Facebook policy. For the couple of weeks or so, Facebook has been automatically flagging post in our group, but when we check the posts, there is nothing wrong with them. One post flagged for nudity was just an old man sitting down somewhere, fully clothed. Made no sense.

The only option Facebook gives is that we just request a review and wait. Of course, no actual way to engage a real person at Facebook unless you file a Better Business Bureau complaint. But doing some research on this, people have complained that they either never received a response from Facebook or that their group was deleted without notice or explanation.

I'll be writing an article on this specific topic for Mother Jones' media section this month. If anyone has any interesting experiences they would like to share about their large size group being arbitrarily disabled or removed by Facebook because of unstated or unspecified violations of their community standards policies, you can contact me at editor@roguescholars.com. Facebook Group Disabled without reason

Our Facebook group, Live Video Streaming (https://www.facebook.com/groups/live.video.streaming) got disabled. The explanation: we’re not following Facebook’s community standards. No reference to any post whatsoever, just an automated message. It seems like a mistake or a robot-generated suspension but can’t be sure. We understand monopoly and the fact that your network, you do as you please, whatever that may be. Still it seems unfair. At this point, our options are:

1. Request a review without deleting anything because there is nothing to delete
2. Hoping that someone, with more humanity, will read this post and point out what was so offending that this mostly technical group had to be suspended

We must mention that the group is approval based, all posts are moderated; things don’t slide, there are several moderator. Wast majority of questions and answers are purely technical, related to live streaming software-, apps and issues. No copyrighted videos, no inappropriate pictures, no Chatroulette style naked men. Maybe the lack of naked men was the problem ...

Seriously, if someone reads this post, please take a look at the group and either re-enable it or please point out what was so offending that we had to be disabled. Thank you!
